Senior Project Director

Location: Dubai

Senior Project Director will be responsible for assisting the Partners, General and Creative Chief Officer with various consulting projects in the field of urban development. They will work closely with clients, gather data, analyse information, and develop projects for clients. The Senior Project Director will also be involved in managing project teams, supervising junior staff and maintaining relationships with clients.The Senior Project Director will assist the consulting team as follows:

Project Delivery and Client Management:

  • Lead, coordinate, manage end-to-end and project delivery ensuring exceptional quality, productiveness, timely completion and client satisfaction
  • Providing guidance to cross-functional project teams and direction to ensure projectgoals are met
  • Track project progress and adjust plans as needed
  • Review and provide feedback on delivered project
  • Manage projects timelines, budgets, and resources
  • Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates to senior partners and stakeholders

Research and Analysis:

  • Lead the research on urban planning policies, best practices and trends
  • Lead data analyses
  • Participate in internal initiatives to improve processes, tools and methodologies

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Deliver presentations to clients, community groups and other stakeholders
  • Help to facilitate community engagement processes, such as workshops, focus groups and public meetings
  • Liaise with public agencies, private developers and other stakeholders to gatherinput and ensure project alignment

Business Development and Networking:

  • Prepare bid documents, design proposals and maintain relationships with the clients
  • Support the senior partners in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
  • Attend industry events, conferences and workshops to stay current on trends and expand your professional network
  • Contribute to the firm’s marketing and communication efforts
  • Develop and maintain a strong external network of industry contacts, clients and partners

Team Leadership and Professional Development:

  • Support recruitment, onboarding and development of top talent
  • Serve as an internal subject matter expert, providing guidance and mentoring tojunior team members
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, translating insights intoactionable solutions for the clients
  • Continue to develop your skills and knowledge in urban planning, design and related fields
  • Seek opportunities to grow your leadership and management capabilities within the firm

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A master’s degree in urban planning, architecture, project management, or arelated field.
  • 7+ years of experience in architecture, urban planning or consultancy, with aproven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of urban development practices and industry trends.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent level of English language, Arabic language is preferred
