The role holder is responsible to manage full cycle of advertising and short-term occupancy licenses and permits from the request stage through agreement issuance, and to execute inspections related to compliance aspects and construction progress inspection.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
Advertising and Short-term permits
- Review and process requests related to advertising and signage mediums
- Review and process requests related to construction site offices
- Prepare necessary legal documentation such as contracts, NOC, payment letters, etc.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders such as Finance, Legal, Engineering departments of Dubai Development Authority to issue approvals
- Proactively research current outdoor advertising market trends and recommend sales strategy.
- Build relationships within targeted companies, including decision makers, influencers and support key stakeholders.
- Prepare proposals / quotes, tracking of contracts, finalize client payments, ensuring account receivables are within pre-defined guidelines.
- Coordinate with finance for invoicing and receipt issuance.
- Promote outdoor advertising locations and handle advertising enquiries.
- Foster and maintain positive client relations at all times, manage customer complaints and attend to customer inquiries that come in through walk-in, emails & phone calls, and present full product knowledge to potential customers.
- Provide advisory services to clients on relevant approvals and permits for advertising. Ensure strong communication within the department on all relevant aspects, to ensure smooth management of the advertising permits process.
- Prepare reports for management including key performance indicators, advertising report, client status reports, occupancy, sales pipeline, financial report.
Compliance and site inspections
- Conduct periodic site and community visits to inspect occupied assets, its compliance with the applicable guidelines set by the government authorities and master developer, and to monitor construction progress
- Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental and authorities’ policies/service procedures and standards.
- Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of company products and pricing structure.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, for the development & constant refinement of the process.
- Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business, Advertising, Marketing.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in supplier/ clients’ management
- Inspection, surveying, and compliance experience
- Business Development skills.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Strong English Communication skills. Arabic is advantageous.
